Bob, that IS a nice body, but if you are planning on running it under the rules we just raced at for Doorslammer class at Sam's race, it wouldn't be 'legal'. That body is actually considered an "Altered" type, since there are no fenders. And, if you read the rules posted below, it says "Full-Fendered Cars, No Roadsters or Convertibles". Don't let that stop ya from building it tho! Maybe, if we can get enuff of the 4 gear "Altered" cars, we can get a class going for those too! ;D

Door Slammer 4 Gear Chassis
Minimum weight: 25 Grams
Armatures: 5 Ohm Minimum. No Rewind, Dewinding. Balancing and Polishing allowed.
Magnets: Ceramic grade onlly
Wheels/Tires: Silly foams allowed. Tires must be black.
Electrical: Unrestricted. Braids and shunts are allowed
Chassis: AW and Aurora are legal. Chassis may be cut and lighten. Motor Magnet area may be modified. Wheelie bars allowed.
Traction magnets: Only 2 allowed
Gears: Unrestricted. Must be readily available.
Body: Resin, Plastic only. No Lexan bodies. Wings, hood scoops etc.. may be made out of styrene, balsa or lexan.
Full fender-ed Car or Trucks bodies with Roof (no Roadsters/Convertibles).
No Funny Car bodies
Hood Ornaments: Must have at least a factory hood scoop. Injectors, Pro Style Hood Scoops, Turbos are encouraged but not necessary.
Air Spoil: Must have at least a factory rear deck spoiler. Pro Stock Style, Pro Mod Style and detached wings are encouraged but not necessary to compete.
Parachute: Recommend one but will not disqualify a car for not having one.
The main reason for the minimum car weight is to get guys detailing them as much as possible. For anybody running this class at my proxy race..... I have plenty of these items (Scoops, Wings & Parachutes) that are yours for just asking. Weight is still to be determined.
