Are all NTRA classes run at 13.8 volts or do some run at 18volts? If so what classes run at what voltage?
Thanks Tim

Most, but not all are run at the 13.8. I'm pretty sure the Gassers are run at a higher voltage, but can't remember what that number is. And the 4 gear Doorslammers, while not as of yet being an 'official' NTRA class, are run at a higher voltage, but again, not sure exactly the number. Hopefully someone else can elaborate more on this. Ron (Bondo)

Thanks Tim Voltage is at the discretion of the track owner -- a class may run at different voltages at different tracks. NTRA has run proxy races with power ranging from 12 to 25 volts for classes such as Super Stock, Ratt Rods, and Gassers, and as much as 27 for MM/PS cars. The different voltages add to the challenge of setting up the cars. The exception is NF/C, which has more-or-less adopted 13.8 VDC as the standard. Rick V.
