Hi:
I have made some using aluminum tubing. I put the live center for my lathe and have a pilot ( iused a broken theareded 0-80 axle with a jam nut on it and chuckedthat in the chuck)
then feed the live center in until you get the flare you desire. make sure you have the pieces of tubing cut to the same length .
