Well the hauler just left awhile go and Team Turner racing cars are on their way,Calvin Turner has his metallica Funny car coming at ya.,as well as my funny and a Pro Stock.see you in the staging lanes guys!!!!!

Phyllis the Mail Lady barely made it up the driveway today; her truck was on the suspension bumpers with a full load of cars. Today's arrivals: TGM2054: NPS 16, 20; NFC 3, 7 Scottman2007: NPS 17, NFC 6 Bondoman2K: NFC 7, 11 Ninjatek: NPS 1, 2; NFC 5, 14 Bluegnuoy: NPS 21, 22; NFC 4, 12 Wood: NPS 11, 25; NFC 1, 6 The transporters are lined up at the Lions Drag Strip pit gate, backed up on 223rd St., and the California High Patrol just closed the Alameda St. off-ramp on the San Diego Freeway. Also received a box of prizes and awards from HairyCanary (aka Rick Williamson). All I can say is that you racers better prove yourselves worthy of awards this nice!  Advance ticket sales for the NTRA Manufacturers Funny Car Championship have exceeded all expectations. The Lions construction crew is working around the clock to erect grandstands to accommodate the SRO crowd. Al the UPS Guy was running late today, but the big brown truck pulled into the driveway and delivered Falcon's gorgeous NFC #12.
We've now got full fields for the Chevy, Chrysler, and Independent teams . . . but only two spots are filled on the Ford roster so far.

The Metallica guys got hooked up with some heavy metal groupies, took a wrong turn on the Long Beach Freeway, and ended up at the Blue Fox Cantina. Tequila Sunrises became Tequila Sunsets. They woke up this morning on Rosarita Beach. They're not dead, but they wish they were. Hopefully they will recover before NF/C qualifying on Friday night. Cheers, Racemaster Rick |
