Phyllis the Mail Lady's USPS truck was shadowed by a black Dodge Charger when she arrived today. That can mean only one thing: the Ohio Mafia is in the house.
Today's arrivals: 440GTX: NPS 6, 7; NFC 1 Eagleracing: NFC 9, 10 Slotfather: NFC 2 JJwallace: NFC 6
Eagleracing also sent a knockout prize for one lucky racer. Watch this space.
Al the UPS Guy was empty-handed -- sorry, Eddiebee.

Only one arrival today, nonstop from Georgia. Charley's FedEx plane landed on the top end of the track, took out the e.t. and mph lights, but Charley's No. 13 NF/C made the deadline. The pit gate is now closed.
Sorry, Eddiebee, nothing from Al the UPS Guy today. I think you should have had Dale Jarrett drive the truck.

Not that it makes a difference , but I contacted UPS about my lost package. What a joke that was. I was told that shipping was held up 2 days in Illinois due to adverse weather conditions. Isn't that lovely. But they do have my package scheduled for delivery today. Wooooooopie !!! Just send it back Rick.

The good news is that's here; the bad news is that it arrived just as I was shipping the other entries back home. Next time . . . buy a plane ticket, deliver it personally, and stay for the race. Thanks, Rick V.

And, that's only one of the many reasons I will NEVER ship anything by UPS! A few years back, I shipped two boxes of Christmas presents up to my parents (in Illinois btw..lol.) It took two months to get there! They used EVERY excuse in the book! What they COULDN'T tell me was WHY! And, they never did either! So, I never shipped with them again. I know that some people don't have the option of using the Postal service, and even as bad as they are becoming, they are still the best way to ship. I really think if you do have to ship UPS, you might wanna allow an extra two to three WEEKS (or even LONGER) to get there! And, oh yea, ESPECIALLY if it has to go through or to Illinois! I lived there for 43 years, and that state is THE absolute WORST for shipping by ANY method! Even USPS! If I shipped a letter one block away (by the USPS anyway), it would take 7 to 14 days to get there! First it had to go 100 miles south, then another 2 or 300 back north, then FINALLY get back to the Post Office in our city! What a JOKE! Better off delivering it yourself! LOL! Anyway, the good thing is, at least your cars weren't LOST! THAT would have been a disaster! Not to mention, expensive too! (gotta look for the 'silver lining' SOMEWHERE in there, right?) Ron (Bondo)
