Dug out my old Tyco motorcycle. I use to race this at Neil's Wheels on a 20ft drag track. It does not fit into rules for upcoming race. Neil's Wheels allowed shunts, adjustable brushes, gear ratio changes, traction magnets, wheelie bar. The motor could be 6ohm balanced. They ran pretty good. No where near the Eagle drag bikes, but they are fun. So I thought I would have some fun and cast the Tyco bike and see I can come up with.

That's friggin awesome Robert. If you want to send in your super bike, I can give it a run down the track and we can Look at the E.T and see if that's where we want to go with them. Totally up to you. Definitely got my intrest going.

CIMG2065 by Robert Shell, on Flickr Robert very cool !! I like those rules from your Neil’s Wheels race days. That might be a good build for future match racing ? Can’t wait to see how your motorcycle frame turns out. It could be a good foundation for other style bodies ?

Here is a photo of an all white Eagle Pro Stock motorcycle. I have designed a new front o-ring wheel. It comes with a stainless tube axle that pins. Photo shows mounted and another leaning against bike. In the background is the motorcycle chassis with adjustable Neo 52 traction magnets with the N30 6ohm motor. Of course fine tuning and finish work is up to you.

The Tyco running gear for the motorcycle is hard to find, if at all. I know Lucky Bob use to carry it, but I looked and it is not listed. So I opened my AutoDesk CAD and designed my own. Big difference here though mine allows for gear changes. So here are a couple of photos of the Eagle Motorcycle Running Gear. The first pic shows the setup installed in the chassis. The second out of chassis. Noticed the screws through the gears. This is a 25T Viper gear. This way allows any gear change. Just cut the shoulder off sand out any rough spots and reinstall. The wheel is drilled and tapped for the screws. So unscrew old gear install new gear.

Need to start tuning for the race at Jeff's. Have been busy building drag bikes and road race cars for other racers. I am pouring the second half of the new drag bike mold. It now features body mounts molded into the body.

This is a casting from 2011. I wanted to update the body with my new narrow 3D printed chassis. I installed a fast drag motor. I also updated the body with plug wires and chute cord.

I have been busy experimenting. I had some 3D filament that was suppose to have a kind of metal chrome look, not so. So I decided to design some double flange wheels for the narrow hot rod Jel-Claw tires. I also designed a new o-ring double flange front rim. Then I milled some mag inserts and used the True Metal paste and buffed them out. Then I sand and apply the True Metal paste to the outside flange. This gives the wheel a polished aluminum look IMHO. As you can see in the picture. The wheels are mounted on a Bull Dog chassis. Also in the picture is my new 8T pinion gear for the 1mm shaft can motors. The crown gear on the tooth pick is my latest effort at designing a gear for the chassis I build. All the other gears in the past were resin this is a filament. Testing will start this month on the new pinion and crown gear.

Here are the results of my new 3D printed 8T pinion test. I ran the pinion on my new M10 can build with a 6 ohm balanced armature. I drilled it out to fit the larger shaft. Here are the pics before and after.
