Thanks for the explanation. Had thought that it may have had fibers in it like fiberglass, to make it stronger. I would imagine that successfully completing a design would be very satisfying.

Yes, some filaments do have fibers for example carbon fiber as well as metal. I have mixed aluminum into resin and it looks real enough, but it becomes more brittle. They 3D folks have a ton of material for the 3D maker to play around with.

This is my latest Rim Design. I call it the T/A Mag. Since I make several different 3D printed chassis I thought it would be cool to have a nice selection of rims to choose from. I started out using predesigned rims and rescaling them. This was a failure as they are not designed for racing. They are designed for static models. So I came up with my own way of designing rims. All my rims both front and rear are double flanged. The cool part is I can make what ever diameter and width I need. Anyway here is a photo of the T/A Mag. If you look close at the gold rim the flange has a carbon fiber look.

Here is a new 3D printed body already primer, Pontiac Grand Prix. It is setting on my newest 3D printed chassis. I call it the Turbo Plus. It features 2 axle positions, adjustable traction magnets Neo 52. The chassis has a pickup bump guard and a much narrower rear end to tuck in those tires.

I have been working on this chassis for awhile. It is a low narrow profile chassis. I designed it to fit a series of F1 and Indy style bodies. It will also fit the new hot rod bodies I will be introducing. The rear tires in the photo are .507" diameter. They are mounted on a double flange mag rim. Here are a few photos of the Stiletto.

AJR, as requested here is the new Stiletto chassis with a Ferrari 156 setting on the chassis. The body is a runner, new version coming soon. Next hot rod for this chassis will be a 33 Ford Coupe. The 33 Willys Pro Mod in the photo fits the Stiletto.

This is a project body a 57 Cadillac Pro Mod. It is setting on version 2 of the can motor chassis. I changed the chassis name to the Raptor. The stock motor is 6 ohm. The one in this setup is 2.8 ohm. I have another Cadillac a 59 Hearse I will be 3D printing soon. I was thinking about running the 59 Cadillac Hearse with a Raptor chassis setup in the Halloween Race, but I just read that can motors are not welcome. No big deal instead of super stock I will make it a wicked neo setup.
