Those are going to be really nice. I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see the cast version. What did you end up using for the sleeve material?

Thanks Jeff, those are Pro Track wheels. I will not be copying their wheels. However what I have done is make a sleeve that snaps over the Pro Track wheel. I did this using Auto Desk and my 3D printer. That way I can have a matching Pro Track wheel set. The only casting I will be doing for wheels are my original designs. Those will be a cold cast aluminum.

I have been using an Aztec airbrush for years. One of the features I liked was the ability to quick change the paint cup. My new airbrush let's me use the same Aztec paint cups, I love it. When I am doing several colors I take a tooth pick and put it in the end of the cup, no leaking paint. Then I clean airbrush and switch cups.

Back to an on going project, my wheels. Here is a pic of my sprue tree. The branches all have wax wheels attached. It will then have a metal flask pressed into the black base. Then I will fill it with investment, kind of like plaster only better. Then you burn out the wax and pour in the metal, short version...

Awesome stuff Eagle. Love following along with your projects. Thank you! The metal work is a lot more involved. After each wheel is cast in metal I then true them using my lathe.

New equipment addition to the shop. This is a 3D Resin Printer. The detail with these is amazing. It is like printing a finished product. Now all I have to do is learn how to use it.......

Sounds interesting.
Eagle I am now preparing a 6 ohm BSRT car for our match race. I will most likely use a super G+ arm in it. Curious to see how much slower it is with that arm vs the 2.5 presently in it.
