Beautiful Henry J. Always one of my favs. That is what I'm entering in the Gasser race later this year and it is one of the fastest cars I've ever had. Great Job. Kaboom

Thanks, guys for kind words on tires and Henry J. Today I got all the signs and flags up. I also finished painting the orange AFX area on track. It now has a new logo.

Just texting my partner JJWallace we are getting really excited about this race. We can hardly wait to see all the cool paint jobs and fast cars headed to the Blacktop Raceway here in Texas.

Today I am going to do a set of Eagle Drag Slicks for my Tyco Corvette. I am going to first true up the rear Vincent Corvette wheel. Then I will turn down to size the foam rubber and make a set of slicks for the Corvette. I will show pics later ;D .

Here is a pic of the new starting line. Took flat black Master Acryl paint and covered the orange on AFX track. Then laid the decals on and sealed with flat clear.

That little bit of orange is the only part I left. It marks the sensor lights and starting line.

Today worked on a couple of 55 Chevy's for the King of Street race. Times are not where I want them, but they are improving.

The shop has it's first A Main win . Ok now that we got that out of the way. It is now time to start turning wrench's for the race at Lions. I just love Rick's track this is where it all started for me. My cars have not performed well on his track, gotta change that ;D.

This is a pic of my 57 Chevy Gasser body. This is one of the ones that will get a complete rebuild for the Gasser Class. In the background is a pair of .475 Eagle Racing Slicks for this car. They are mounted on Vincent trued wheels the Lotus chrome 4 spoke. I really made these tires for one of my road race cars but, decided to give them a try on the gasser.
