Well I said I was going to do some inserts for the rims I am milling so here are a few.

Here are some photos of the mag wheel inserts I am machining on my mill. I designed them with an axle hole so they do not have to be glued. That way they can be reused. One photo shows a side profile, so you can see how narrow the rim and tire are. It has a rear flange. The tire diameter is .500.
In this photo I painted the insert with an airbrush. The color is aluminum and then I clear coated it.
This photo shows my vette insert. Very, very fine detail milled here. It is ready to be pushed onto the axle. It has not been painted.
The insert is simply pushed onto the wheel. I am using a Scale Engineering tire press post adapter. The pick in the background is all you need to pull the inserts back off. I use machinable ABS, way more durable than styrene plastic.
The insert installed.

Here are three body projects I have started. I still have lots of work to do. All three fit the Xtraction chassis or an inline chassis. They will mount just like a 4g. The 55 Chevy pro street version is wider. However I have never liked how the body sets on the chassis. I like them slammed. So I added a little length to the body.

55 Chevy Pro Mod

Thought I would show a part I designed for pinion gears, a pinion sleeve. No 8T pinion is made for the AW Super III. So I made this part. The first gear is a 8T pinion, second one is stock 7T AW pinion used in the Super III. The last one is an 8T pinion, that mounts inside the sleeve and is bonded.

Will the sleeve work on all after market gears/? Like wizzard,BSRT,Viper? I have made some Super III pretty quick but can't find gears long enough for the shorter shafts on the arms I use.

The 8T I used it on was Wizzard. I think the other gears are same size.

Here is my drag bike casting, first one this year. It is also sporting my new carbon fiber chassis made for the drag bike. I also designed a new front wheel. It is a pinned setup and larger rim with an o-ring.

I love the drag bikes. I was looking at mine the other day. I need to get with you and order another one.....maybe with a chassis. I will be in touch. I'm thinking I need to do that front wheel upgrade on mine too.

I have been redesigning my web site at eagleracing.us I just added a Project page. This is where I will show the latest of what I am working on, but not everything.... . So here is a pic of the latest project. It is my Carbon Fiber Turbo Chassis. So I now make a chassis that fits N20, N30 motors, LifeLike T-motor and now the Tomy Turbo type motor now fit one of my Carbon Fiber Chassis setups.

Update on my Turbo Chassis version, I want the back end to be more narrow. That will allow for a wider range of tires to be tucked inside fender well. Back to the drawing board. The design is all in house so I may have it figured it today.
