You been hitting the bottle again? What did you use for wheels and tires to begin with. I've been thinking about doing this, I just need to find the time to experiment.

Actually, the foam donuts aren't hard to find at all. Can't remember the guys name, I think it's 'sluggoslots' on Ebay, sells them all the time. I actually have two packages of 10 prs in each pkg sitting here. Just haven't found the time to do them. If you're familiar with the 'other' site (initials are "HT"..lol) on the tech tips thread (I think) there's a whole big thing on there about how to do your own. I can find the link, but I'll need to look it up. Actually pretty easy, but pretty 'messy' too! ;D Only thing that will be a little more difficult to get are the rims. Sam was starting to 'play around' with them, but not sure what he's gonna do now. He has a REAL nice jig to drill the holes in the wheels, since pretty much all of the wheels that are used for this are just 'blank' colored Delrin wheels (plastic type). But, I would like to try finding some nice diecast wheels to shave down and use. Only prob might be that there are no 'flanges' on most of those wheels. I know that matters on road course and stock cars and stuff, but would it really matter on a drag car? Since you're not 'laying over' on the rims since there are no turns on a strip. Ron (Bondo)

Ebay is where I got mine foam donuts at. The silly foam tires are glued to the delrin wheels or any wheel for that matter. I have several from wizzard and that is the way they are and no shoulder front or back. I use an arbor and do two sets at a time. Then I select what wheel I want to use and glue them on. I am sure others have a different way of doing it, this is mine.
