Thanks Dog Yes they are soldered, I used lucky bobs acid flux and a good quality silver soldier. make sure you scuff up where the solder will go otherwise it doesnt like to stick. I used 800 grit sandpaper. I'll post a picture of them not on the car later tonight. Jason

Hey Jason, pics would be nice. ;D What I really want to see is how you mounted them. THAT has always been EVERYONE'S major 'issue' with wheelie bars on a 4 gear chassis. I personally have it pretty much figured out, but I'm sure others would like to see the mounting methods you used. Ron (Bondo)

Ron (Bondo) Sorry I plugged my camera into the charger then got a little sidetracked on another project last night. I'll make a little how to on mounting them when I get home from work in a little while. If anybody wants a set I can knock out some extras tonight to give away at the winternats. Jason

Ok I got home and banged out two more wheelie bars. I'm working on the mounting guide right now.

Ok here we go. Start off by removing the top gearplate and the rest of the internals. Flip the chassis over and notch the rear of the chassis as shown in the picture. This will cup the wheelie bar and help hold it in place. I used a dremel but I'm sure there are other ways, maybe even easier ones, to do this. Now to line up the wheelie bars with the notches use something to prop of the rear of the bars. I used a cheerwise soda cap, I'm sure a cap from your favorite frosty adult beverage will work as well. This is done to make sure that the bottom rails (currently on top because everything is upside down) of the wheelie bars are parallel with the bottom of the chassis. Make sure your setup looks something similar to this: Once everything is aligned go ahead and epoxy or glue the bottom rails in place. I'm using gorilla glue for this, although I do have the loctite plastic epoxy if it looks like I'm going to need something stronger. Wait for that to setup/dry then flip the chassis back onto its wheels and glue the crossbrace to the rear bulkhead of the chassis. Now glue your favorite wheels to the axle and trim off the excess and wala, ho scale promod style wheelie bars. Jason
