I have ran Lifelike cars along with the Tycos and G Plus cars on an oval and road coarse tracks. They are pretty close on those tracks. As for the Tyco and G Plus cars , there are plenty of "hop up" or performance parts available out there for them!! Haven't used either of them for drag cars yet so don't know about compairing that way.

A couple years back I tested different gear ratios in different brands of chassis. All of the chassis were stock except for slip on silicone tires. The cars were not tuned or tweaked. Changing gears was the only modification made. The test chassis were run with no body on them. the cars tested were, Autoworld super 3 Tyco 440-x2 (slim chassis) Life-Like T-chassis Tomy Turbo I also threw in an original Aurora G-Plus. Here are the results, The chassis were tested at 13.8v on my 15' 2" SCI track. Hope this helps Matt

I would give the edge to the LL if we're talking stock. Parts are available for other makes that I could never find for the T. Poly mags in the Tyco's probably made more of a difference than same mod in other brands. At least seemed that way. ....................PC

Intersting way to slam the inline cars. Can you post some close ups of the top side of the chassis? Your Nova and P/S cars are looking good.

These magnets work very well, I have tried double stacking on the stock LL T Can, really didn't notice any advancement in power because I was on a stock LL track. The car above is a LL M chassis, LL T magnets, Tyco 440x2 arm older 4 gear rear end runs great,
