That is a royal pain to do. I don't know anybody that likes doing that. If everything is true have you checked how true your chassis is? What type chassis is this setup going into? Any and every chassis with out traction magnets.

As I said make sure the chassis is true. When I raced 1/24 I used jig wheels to setup my chassis and make sure chassis was true. Scale Engineering makes these for HO. If you need them for a larger scale, Pacific Slots has them. These work great for setting up a chassis. If the chassis has axle bearings make sure they are not worn out. If allowed use the jig wheels to set up and glue in place. Not good to have the axle bearings moving around.

hope you have made sure your axles are straight too. there is a lot that can cause the imbalances that cause tires to leave the track surface. and axle holes become worn quicker than most folks think. truing slip on solid silicone tires is an art and one must go very carefully into that procedure until it feels right. I agree with what has been said about using silicone slip on Tuff Ones tires on slightly larger rims. I endorse these tires .... xp77.com/hiester/tires.htm ..... there are other tires that are good, but I like Tom's best. the ones he makes using the formula he bought from Penn Valley Hobbies are plenty sticky and true round

Al would these be the same tires that Jag Hobbies sells? The numbers are the same on a few. I have been using their S301 and S501 tires for awhile. This is great info. thanks for sharing.

jjW, I don't know as I haven't bought from Jag. I would suspect they are. I am sure that Jag will be more than happy to share that info with you, maybe! ?!? LOL note, at the bottom of Tom Heisters list are Super Tires which I have never tried. I presume he is reselling those as I think they are made by someone else. if it turns out that they ARE Tom's product I will have to buy some for testing pronto.
