Hello all, I just got a new resin body and it has some pits in it. I'm new at this, what is the best way to fill these pits before primer and pait? kbuck

Guys with resin mix a bit extra and use that, but if you don't cast, use some plane model puty, or mix a small amount of 5 min. epoxy. The Dogs favorite method is to put a dab of Gap Filling Super Glue in the hole with a toothpick than a spirtz of Hardener, (The Dog don't like to wait) than just sand smooth. Dog

I like to use Squadron's Green Putty. Sands real smooth and easy, much better than their White Putty.

Kbuck, if any auto parts stores are near spot puty will work. Have a tube of Bondo been using for a long time. Think it was 2 or 3$. .......PC

I've got a question about the controllers that are used at races. Are they varible speed or an instant full power on button? And what do most prefer? Just wondering. KABOOM

Kbuck, think the controllers are up to host track. Could be what they have, or prefer to get. Sure that same ohm rating is a requirement. Can't say I have a preference, between the two I've only had variable speed controls. ........PC

I guess it will depend on who the drivers are for the race and who has the most consistent low RT, Wood or Blue. OK boys, Who has the lowest consistent RT of yo two? Kbuck

re filling bits, if I use epoxy I usually add a small amount of talc powder, makes for better sanding.

Just thought I would stick this in here. I was just watching the NHRA 4 WIDE NATIONALS, and I have come to the conclusion, that I don't care for it. Can't seem to concentrate on watching four cars at once. Any thoughts? Race On!
