Hey Barney here I know you all have seen my 40 Willy's patrol car, but I have added a couple of vehicles to our Law Enforcement Fleet. Thats right a 50s Divco SWAT Box Van, and a Vega FC Intercepter The Divco sports clear head & taillights with aluminum Bazels. And a hand made strobes for the roof. Next the Vega FC will make any Law Breakers wish they hadn't tryed to run ! We choose Kdog Racing to develop these vehicles because we like the way he rolls....nuf said ! Remember kids.....Crime Doesn't Pay !

The Divco sports clear head & taillights with aluminum Bazels. And a hand made strobes for the roof. Nice work kdog! What do you use for the light bar and who makes the decals? Thinking of a state police cruiser for my home state.

The light bar was 1/8" red, and blue clear plastic rod, with 1/8" aluminum channel for the base. Than I sanded the top flat to the shape I wanted. I used the same rod for the headlights, and 3/32 rod for the tail lights. I round the lights front and rear by chucking the rod in a dremil and rounding with a sanding stick. Start with coarse and gradually work to fine. I usally have no problem finding Aluminum tubing the right size to fit over the rod for the bazels, makes a sharp looking light.
As far as the decals Road Race Replicas has 2 sheets with Police decals on them. They also have a bunch of good Drag Race decals as well. His decals are some of the best quality I've used.

Really excellent workmanship on these, Kdog! Great tip on making headlights and taillights with clear rod and aluminum bezels.
Thanks, Rick V.
