It was a great night. Wood came over , we were gettin cars ready for the winter nationals. Started the night with a stock aw and at the end of the night we were running 4 tenths quicker wth more we can still do. Even ran my fuelers, they didn't do to bad stock out of the box. All I can say Wood just gets quicker and quicker.  |

We had another good test -n-tune tonight. Finanlly getting some AW 4 gear cars to run with the A/FX 4 gear cars. Wood likes to build torque motors and I build RPM motors. Have a good day. =)

Another test-n-tune tonight. 1 more session before getting the transporters ready. found a few new things tonight. =)

Wood and I started building our doorslammers for the june race, made good progress. Its going to be a long time before we get to run again. Played with the fuelers a little bit too. ;D  |

TGM2054 Wood doesn't have any secrets. He puts alot of work in his cars. He is very methodical and persistenced and pays attention to details. He is a racer not a hobbist. He may make 60 to 100 passes working on one area of the car until he gets it wear he wants it. I have seen him make magnet changes all night long (3 to 4 hrs) until he finds the optium set up. On the other hand I haven't been building to win. I have been building to have fun and for me they are two types of builds. As long as I'm in the fast 8 thats good enough. When we build we build for the next race we don't work on bodies, we use the track time. I only fire up the track on Thursdays nights but we make 100rds of passes. Testing, testing ,testing., We work as a team we watch each others cars leave the line, we share ideas etc. Thats his secret. |
