First up is 79 Malibu's Silver camaro and Yellow Nova. The first run the Camaro comes out first but shakes the tires hard, the Nova goes by for the win. Second run they come off together, the Camaros spins the tires and the Nova advances. Next up is Wazzers red Camaro and his big bright yellow '62 Chevy. The Camaro leaves late and is fighting for traction but gets around the big Chevy for the win. Next run The Camaro is out first and never looks back. The Camaro advances.

Jim Russell come to the line with a good looking pair, a yellow'67 Nova and a sharp blue '69 Nova. Both cars are having problems off the line but at the stripe it's the blue nova. Second run both cars get a hold of the track but this time it's the yellow 67 getting the win light. Last time for this pair, they're side by side and in the lights the yellow 67 come out on top. Next up is Pceng's grey rat rod Vette and and his yellow Falcon. It's an even start but the Vette pulls away at about half track for the win. Next run the Vette wastes one with a red light, so thats one each. This time the Falcon is out first but the vette catches him at mid track and goes by for the win. The Vette moves on.

Joe65skylarkGS is up next. He's got a nice looking yellow Willy's and a neat little Model A pick up. The Willys is out first and maintains the lead for the win. Next run the Pick up red lights sending the Willy's in to tomorrows show. Coming to the line now is Dragfool with a nice Monza and yet another yellow '67 Nova. The Monza and Nova leave like they're welded together but in the lights it's the Monza by a fender. Second run the Nova comes out first with the Monza in hot pursuit, but he just can't catch him before the lights. Last match up for these two. The Nova moves first but the Monza is right there, giong through the lights it's the Monza by about half a fender. The Monza will be back for tomorrows race.
