2012 WINTER NATIONALS: SECOND ENTRY BATTLE

First up to the line are Pceng and his yellow Falcon, and in the other lane we have Nosubfor3's silver 70 Camaro.
They carefully stage up, the lights come down, and the Falcon is out first, but the Camaro is right there, at the lights it's Nosub's Camaro by the slightest of margins.
We line them up again, and they're off, at half track they're side by side.

At the light it's Nosub's Camaro taking a close one to move on to the next round.

Next up are Camaroguy327 and his big grey 62 Chevy, next to him is Wood with his silver 70 Camaro.
The big Chevy stages in first, Wood brings his in, the lights come down and Wood is off like a rocket, all Camaro guy sees is taillights and dust. It's Wood all the way.
They line up once more, the big Chevy moves first, but he has problems early on and Wood blows by for the win.

Now on the line we have Jim Russell and his super sano blue Nova, in the other lane is SJ Racer with his burgundy blown Willys.
The lights come down and the Willy's slaps a major holeshot on the Nova. Jim's not giving up yet! At half track the Nova comes on strong, real strong to take the win!
They both come back, they swap lanes and line them up again.
The Willys slaps another major holeshot on the Nova.


Just when you think SJ has it in the bag, here come's Jim's Nova to drive around him and take the win. Jim moves on to the next round.

Last pair in the first round are 79malibu with his silver Camaro and Wazzer's yellow 62 Bel Aire.
They stage up, the lights come down and Malibu's Camaro is out first but his tires shake hard and he has to get out of it, Wazzer is on it and drives around him to take the win.
They come back and put them in the lights. This time the big Chevy is out first, the Camaro leaves hard but is plagued by tire problems again, all he can do is watch the big Chevy lumber down the track to advance to the next round.
Thats it for round one. Round two should be exciting to watch to say the least!

Round Two.
Wood draws the bye for this round, so first up are Dragfool's yellow Nova and Nosubfor3's silver Camaro.
The lights come down and Dragfool is dead late. Nosub blows on through for the win.

Second race they line up, launch together, at half track it's anybodys race. In the lights, it's the silver Camaro!

Round Three Jim draws the bye, so it's Nosubfor3's 68 Camaro up against Wood's 70 Camaro.
They both take their time staging. The lights come down and they leave together, at half track it's anybodys race. Nosub starts to pull away and is able to take the light.
They bring them back around and get ready to do it again.
This time Nosub get a little holeshot, but thats all he needs, Wood gives it all he's got but comes up the slightest bit short.
Nosub's in the final!

Sitting in the staging lanes now are the cars for the 4Gear Second Entry Battle.

We've got an odd number of cars to start of with, and Joe65skylarkGS draws the bye for this round.
First up are Ninjatek and his red Boss Mustang, in the other lane we find Wood's Batmobile.
They stage up and Ninja cuts a light but Wood is coming on strong at half track, in the lights it's the Batmobile taking the win.
Second race, Ninja axes the tree! He knows he's going to need it.
Ninja leads at half track, but the Bat is just too strong, he drives around the Mustang to take the win.
