2012 WINTER NATIONALS: SECOND ENTRY BATTLE

Next up are Eagle Racing with a red, white and blue pro stock. in the other lane is Jim Russell's Robert Height funny car.
The lights come down and eagle is out first,jim comes on strong, but in the lights it the pro stock of Eagle.
Next run, Jim takes ahot at the tree and it works. He's out first and leads the whole way down track. Thats one and one,time for the deciding race.
Both cars stage carefully, the lights come down, and Eagle leaves first, but Jim's funny car isn't far behind. At half track they're neck and neck. At the lights, it the funny car by a hair!

Round two of the 4Gear Battle.
First up is Joe65skylarkGS's Grand Am funny car, next to him will be Wood's Batmobile. Joe saw what the Bat can do so he's loaded for bear!
The lights come down,Joes out first, at half track they're neck and neck. At the lights, it's Woods Batmobile by a fender!
They're back at the line, this time Wood gets the slightest of advantages, but Joe doesn't give up,but by three quarter track, it's all but over.

Wood advances to the next round.

Coming to the line now is Jim Russell with his Robert Height funny car. In the other lane we have Slotfather and his Shane Grey pro stock Grand Am.
They pull them into the beams and the lights come down.
Slotfather's Grand Am has a slight advantage off the line,but the funny car is right there. In the lights its the Grand Am of Slotfather.
They come back around and line them up again.
Again Slotfather gains a slight advantage on the lights. Jim tries but just can't catch the Grand Am, Slotfather is off to the next round.

On to round three!
Slotfather drew the bye this time so that brings up JJ Wallace and his Mustang vs Wood and the Batmobile.
Both cars stage in,the tree come on. JJ red lights! Wood cruises to an easy one there. Theu're not done yet though.
They swap lanes, stage in,and the lights come down. That red light must not have rattled JJ much, he slaps a holeshot on Wood to take the win.
Ok this is the last one, winner goes to the final.
Both cars carefully stage, the lights come down, Woods out first. He maintains his lead at half track, JJ is giving it all it's got, it's close but the starting line advantage is all Wood needs to advance to the final.

Final Round in the 4Gear Second Entry Battle.
It's the Slotfather with his Shane Grey pro stock Grand Am up against Wood with the Batmobile!
Both cars pull up to the line. They stage carefully.

The lights come down, Slotfather catches Wood sleeping on the line, he got a full car length advantage.But by half track Wood is reeling him in. In the lights it's Wood for the win.
They come back up, stage them in again. This Wood is wired to the tree. The Batmobile is out first and never looks back,taking the win.
