I have hit dead end after dead end on where to find these I have seen a few front engine drag slot cars but not alot. Im wanting to get one and paint it up like my late grandpa in memory of him. He past last Febuary and he loved to drag race. Im thinking they are 1/24 scale cars but I can be sure. Any help would be good.

Hey Taz, 1/24 would be your best bet. One guy/company that does some nostalgia front engine stuff is Joe Cardoza, JDS Racing. Here's the link to his stuff. He only sells through distributors tho, so you will need to find either a track close to you, or one online that sells it. I might be able to locate some of it for you tho, if you see anything you may want. I do still have a lot of buddies up in the midwest that run the big scale stuff, and I still build a few cars and sell them over on Epay. Just shoot me a pm if so. bracket500.com/jds/Ron (Bondo)

If your wanting an HO scale one Eagle Racing and Hairy Canary both had/have made bodies. If it's 1/24 your going to doRon's right, or you can build a chassis out of piano wire, get a motor mount and use either a Falcon or Cheetah slim can motor. Do it right and you can get it to pull wheelies if you put a drop arm on it.

Oh very cool. Either scale Im looking for. What size piano wire would I use if I built the chassis my self?
