I cant seem to find anywhere flat brass. Does anyone have two wheelie bars for gassers. Im using thunder jet 500 chassis.

Finally found a "Hobby Lobby" not to far away. They had brass stock. Maybe one near you.
If your going to use the flat brass (screw plate to fasten to chassis ? ), then solder on brass rods. The rods themselves can just be bent to a U shape and fastened under screw. If your using tubes or something similar the plate is probably your best bet. Recently got tubular brass (thought I was getting rods), very small OD. Very happy with results, can be used for down tubes and axle shaft. I use glass beads and straight pins (cut down) for axles. After all is soldered together I press axle tube down on ruberized cement to squeeze into tubing. Push cut down pins (end with head and bead on) into tubing and done. Easiest way I found to use beads and pins for axles. Way more than trying to solder cut pins w beads on them.
