O.K. Eagleracing.....You and I briefly discussed doing this, but I'm going to make it an official match race challenge. I am proposing to you an unlimited 4 gear match race utilizing a door slammer type body. This will be a first for me, but I have a couple of hot arms I want to do something with and it will be a learning experience if nothing else. And ,of course, FUN!! I know your up to the challenge. Just let me know what you want to do. CO HOST vs HOST MATCH RACE. ;D

I'm sure Eagle is going to show us ( me ) what can be done. I'm curious too. I realize what I'm setting myself up for, but I am willing to give it the ole college try. lol Texas Outlaw Doorslammer........that sounds cool.

Hey guys, just in case this class is raced in the future. Has any limit been discussed or set for mag's and arm ? Have afew low ohm'ers with no place to go. Do we still have a pro-mod t-jet class ? If anyone ever wants to run P/M jets let me know. Built one over a year ago and have no idea what it will do as far as time goes.
Veeeeery interesting, the ears perked up in Iowa when match racing was mentioned ........ just kidding Tom. And I too Ron, would love to see what happens and know what was done with build as far as arm and mags go.

Actually guys, the Tjet ProMod class is still in the 'rule book', altho it was only raced one time, very early in the NTRA 'history'. And, I think only 4 or 5 cars showed up, none of which were all that fast since at that time, nobody had any idea what to modify to get them to go fast. This is something we need to discuss after this season is over. In my opinion, we need more than one race per year for each class. This year, I think we have two DS races, but other than the stock classes, which I think have a few scheduled as well, everything else only gets run once.  But, in reality to do this, we probly need more tracks.  Anyway..we need to talk about this one at length later. Let's not 'hijack' this thread anymore than we have already. ;D Now..back to the topic..we need more match races! ;D Ron (Bondo) |

Ok JJWallace I except your challenge. The only rules are Door Slammer body and the tires from current rules. Is that correct? The race is best 2 out of 3.

Hey Guys,
Sorry, didn't mean to mess with thread. Mouth was going faster than brain yesterday.
Keith, I'd love to get my P/M jet in a race. I do though feel funny about sending Eagle Racing any more cars than the four I've entered in the scheduled races. Three classes are going to be run, a first that I know of. And now match races added to that seems like alot.
Ron, some time ago we talked about exhibition runs with various builds. This Outlaw match race sounds like that. I'm just dying to know what kind of arms and magnets will be used, and what will happen when the light goes green.

I think just 3 classes for now would be better on eagleracing and jjwallace. I think the match race should be just them two. All out build with a doorslammer body and tires form the rules. Maybe the stock race that is coming up after the summer nationals we have a match race. ( thats is if the hosting track is up to it)

Sounds good Eagle. Door slammer body and current rule tires. Unlimited beyond that I guess. Whatever voltage you want.
