I know we basically concentrate on pancake's, but this may concern some when talking MM/PS. Just learned last night of AW's "Super III". From what I read this is a new and ORIGINAL design from AW. Though they appear to have been out for a few years, this was the first time I heard of them.
Does anybody run this chassis ? Possiblly be able to post a pic. of one ? Very intrested in what they look like and how they compare to other inline chassis. Are aftermarket parts available ? Never have seen anything about cars or parts on sites I generally use to order from.

Most do not find them comparable to other inlines. One drawback is there are no upgrade parts available for them. Some have experimented fitting Tyco shoes to them and other non-AW brand parts with little improvement. This a link to a review by Paul Shoemaker. There are also other reviews on the SCI site. www.slotcarillustrated.com/index.php?categoryid=16&p2_articleid=295

A couple years back I tested different gear ratios in different brands of chassis. All of the chassis were stock except for slip on silicone tires. The cars were not tuned or tweaked. Changing gears was the only modification made. The test chassis were run with no body on them. the cars tested were, Autoworld super 3 Tyco 440-x2 (slim chassis) Life-Like T-chassis Tomy Turbo I also threw in an original Aurora G-Plus. Here are the results, The chassis were tested at 13.8v on my 15' 2" SCI track. Hope this helps Matt
