Tazman...if you will read even further it says if you race those types of cars you will need to use the optical sensors. They will detect any type of car and are very accurate. Those are the type of sensors I ordered. All of this information is stated clearly on the website. I have yet to hear of anyone that is dissatisfied with this system. I just received mine and am impressed with the workmanship.

At the end of the last post it states that HO pancake cars aren't compatible with this system and it's also on their site... So wondering if it could be adjusted to work for the pancake cars? Thanks Doug 412

It can. You just need the optical sensors to be able to use it with the T Jets. The standard system relies in the more powerfull traction magnets to trip the sensors.
I haven't heard a bad thing about it once you get the right stuff to work with the cars your going to race.
I've got one, I just need to order the optical sensors for mine. I'm impressed with it, it's really nicely made.
