The 34th St Louis Fall Slot Car Show will be Dec. 9th from 9am till somewhere around 1pm give and take....
General admisson....$5. kids under 6 free.... Early Bird @ 8 am....$12.
There is an auction at noon.
There will be working layouts to test your cars....
All Scales of Slot Cars welcome, & for sale....
Tables are $30, helpers $10, wives, life partners Free
KDOG.... will be appering in person! to work the crowd all DAY !

easy to get to you can see it from I-55.

The 38th St Louis slot car show is in the books. It was a super day for everyone, so many venders showed up more tables had to be dragged out and squeezed in to accommodate everyone. Over the weekend, and some on NITRO Slots the Dog sold 75 RRR Mustang body's. Thanks to the NITRO guys that bought some. The Dog has always been a player, but he will be the first to admit he is uncomfortable carrying around a wad of cash that big. Over $1000 in 20s, 10s, and 5s. For any who want those street versions I had, or the next Race versions (with the cobra front fascia) along with some Trans AM decals, and wheels to match, contact Phil at Road Race Replicas after Jan 5th as he is taking a bit of a break for the holidays.
There is some talk about the Dog taking more body's, and some decals and wheel sets to the next show, I'll keep everyone posted.

Just a reminder for anyone close enough to make it I have a table at the Midwest Slot Car show near Chicago at Lincoln Center, 2450 Lincoln St, Highland, IN this Sunday March 15th I believe it opens at 9am.
The Dog will also have a table at The St Louis Slot Car Show/Swap meet on Sunday March 22 at the Orlando Gardens Banquet Center, 4300 Hoffmeister, St Louis, MO
I will have the full selection of Road Race Replica's new 66 Shelby Mustangs. I now have both the Street, and the Race versions, plus a decal sheet that will do 5 different historic racers. You can see all these on RRR website.
The DOG hopes to see some of you there !

I did see Wood at the show as well as Jimmy Flintstone amazing resin caster, Hairy Canary's friends Graphics by Gary (amazing decals), and Doug CMC body's a very talented body designer. The DOG can't explain how much fun it is to meet all these talented folks and check out (and buy a bunch) of their super cool products. Well worth the 5 hour drive to Chicago. I am going to put this show back on my list for fall. Next Sunday the St Louis show I would encourage anyone with in driving distance to attend a show at least once WARNING you may be hooked like the DOG is ! |

Dog speaking of the decals do you know of anyone that can print custom decals. I need to get a few made up for some replica funny car and dragsters i have of a couple of friends funny cars and dragsters so i can send them to the real car owners.

Perhaps you could ask if possible ? Tia......... Peter Peter I haven't talked to Gary since the Chicago show but he has been doing some custom work for members on this site. That being said I am not going to throw Gary to the wolves so to speak without talking to him first. He is a friend to guys on this site, and he is not a member, nor does he have a web site for his own reasons. Some of the folks on this site seem to have angry posts fairly often when I see those I am not going to give up friends and business contacts freely on this site, most of my contacts I consider friends and just won't do that! Anyone wanting any of my contacts PM me and I will in most cases get back but in a few cases probably NOT! Let me finish with this If you have an issue with any vendor or person you should contact them directly (like some other members suggested) not air out your dirty laundry over and over again for the rest of us to read. Although some of you are extremely funny when you bitch. DOG Not sure if I follow......... perhaps was not clear enough. Never asked this of anyone. Well the Slot Car Show season is over for the DOG till late November, it was good to see some old friends and some NITRO guys there like Randy from Hilltop Customs, and Ford Cowboy, with all the other regulars.
The next Chicago fall show is on November 8th, no date for St Louis yet (we can't be rushed into any decisions). The fall shows tend to be the larger with Chicago being the largest in the country
(they claim). Most vendors stay at the same Motel and open their doors to other dealers and anyone that wants to get a jump on Slot Car, & parts shopping. The Dog sold $900 worth the night before the show, just amazing.
I will post all the info before the show so if someone wants they can plan to attend.
