Thanks Pete and Robert. I appreciate the good word. Getting a little more familiar with the airbrush. Once the Finals are done I am going to step up the projects. Got lots of bodies to work with.

Been working like a madman to get things completed. Of course that is when you will have the most problems......when you're pushing a deadline. Got the N/FC Mustang completed. Here are a couple of pics.
After decal application and detailing. Still needs windows and clear coat.
Windows installed and clear coat has been applied. All that's left is the parachute cords and it's ready for the chassis.

Yes Peter clear decal paper. That's why the color is drowned out a little. Thanks and yes it is replacing the Migrain Mustang for the Finals.

Bear Creek Dragway remodel started today. Helping Eagle get started with the Blacktop Raceway rebuild got me motivated to go ahead and get what I had planned done. Changes will be double wide track utilizing the outer 2 lanes for racing, led lighting on both sides of track, IR emitters for light source, an overall more authentic looking drag strip......that's the idea anyway. Should have done this in the first place but budget just didn't allow it at the time.
Everything has been stripped down to the deck. Lighting at start and finish is next to be removed. I am planning on building my own IR emitters so I will be utilizing temporary lighting till that is completed. I need to fabricate another terminal track and finish line track. All my connections are soldered for a positive connection. I expose about 2" of track rail and solder directly to it then seal with shrink wrap.
New overhead lighting for track is in the works as well. Hoping to have everything completed by mid December.

We are starting up a local HO Drag racing club here in North Texas for 2015. Currently it is only Eagle Racing and myself, but we hope to pick up some more racers eventually. We will just have all the fun in the meantime . Club name is Texas HO Drag Racing Association and our first race will be Friday January 16, 2015 at Eagle Racing's Blacktop Raceway. Blacktop is currently being rebuilt but will be completed before then. Looking forward to some heated local club racing as well as proxy racing in 2015. We plan on running 4 events for 2015....Jan, Apr, Jul, and Oct. Classes to be run are Bracket (open), Top Fuel (4g), Doorslammer (4g), and MM/PS (inline). NTRA and ISRA rules observed. Pro Stock Motorcycle will be making it's debut.

New Bear Creek racing surface is down. Still lots to do but this is my first look at the double wide layout. Hope to be close to completing construction by the end of the week. I may have figured out a way to gain the extra shut down that I need.
