Enjoyed the video! and the photo gallery that came up with it. Some great pics of the June event.

Here are the Four Gear Outlaw Videos. I hope to incorporate these videos into my races. They will get better when I upgrade my phone. These were done on a Galaxy S6. The S7 on up have a much better FPS that will relate to clearer slo mo videos.
Four Gear Outlaw 2
Round 1 and Round 2 Call Outs for the #1 and #2 spots.

Really enjoyed the video. Unfortunately every time I watch it the results are the same. Good runs Jeff. Congrats on reaching #1. Of course your car now has a target on its back bumper. Don't worry though, not a bazooka target.

EC bills trouble makers may still be hiding in the bushes here at Smoky Mountain. Will have to send a patrol out to look for them!!

Been using the Smooth On products for many years now. Started out with the Aluminite and quickly found out I needed much more working time which they did not offer. Also been using pressure pot for both the mold and the casting itself. What an improvement. Truck looks good JJ.. Alan I had set myself up with a vacuum chamber and started with that. Hilltop suggested the pressure pot and yes you are right......What an improvement! Still have to do everything else right, but it sure makes a huge difference. Smooth On suggests degassing of the mold material I am using so I do still have a need for the vacuum chamber. Thanks for the good word.

Several things going on these days at AJ Racing. some painting projects are in the paint booth now. The Chevy Luv PM project is complete...clayed up...and ready for first part of mold. I can hardly wait to customize the first one! Casting has been going very well. I have the procedures down, now I need to be consistent and get a little more acquainted with my products. I have received some "golden" tips recently from a couple of our top shelf builders that have helped me tremendously. I really appreciate that. I also just like to talk shop sometimes too. Thanks Hilltop and Hairy Canary.

Looking to upgrade the bleachers at Bear Creek and came across this 3D kit from Innovative Hobby Supply www.innovativehobbysupply.com/ (the Jel Claw people). It was a little more involved than I expected, but I like stuff like this. It is a pretty nice kit for the price ($14). Not sure if it is what I'm looking for though. I think I want some real wood like at a few of the other tracks. But these grandstands will find a home at the Creek for awhile. Now I need to find some people to put in the seats.

The stands look pretty good Jeff. I still have some on my track along with the wooden ones I built. Up close the wooden ones look a lot better. People for the stands are available on e bay already painted either seated or standing at pretty low cost.

Last....I thought I would share this. I am trying some new tire glue out. This seems to be a subject that comes up regularly. Up until now I have used Versa Chem flowable silicone from Oreilleys which has worked very well for the most part. The silicone also does not destroy the tires if they are removed. But it is not enough to hold tires on the inlines and some of the faster pancake builds. I came across this on the Slot Car Corner site www.slotcarcorner.com/. It is made specifically for gluing tires to rims......basically a rubberized super glue. They are primarily a 1/32 and 1/24 scale site so I thought it might work well for 1/64. I will be testing it as well as a new lubricant going forward and will post any results.

The first casting of the Chevy Luv came out great yesterday. I'm stoked at how well the castings are coming out. Next project will be an early 70's Chevy Vega. I can hardly wait to paint this first one. Windshields will normally be black, but I was testing the mold with this one.
This is an '84 Thunderbird that I did awhile back that I am now casting myself. I fabricated it from a stock AFX Nascar body. This one has molded mounts for SG+. Chevy Luv has 4 gear mounts molded in.
