I thought I would throw this out there. I am needing a Superjet Monte Carlo body for a build so I ordered 2 on Aug. 19. Paypal has been charged and as far as I can tell the order was received, but I have not received the bodies yet. I have tried to contact Superjet twice through their customer support email, but only got the automated response. Just want to confirm shipping status in case there was a problem with delivery or something. Does anybody know an alternate method of contact or if something is going on with the site? I will try today through one of the other listed emails. Thanks. Recently I ordered some Montes from him too. It took quite a while to receive them. He said he was swamped with orders for 3 of his bodies. Hopefully you'll hear from him soon. Bill I have ordered a bunch of all the HO Super Jets body's and he has always gotten my order to me. That being said they do take awhile to come, but well worth the wait quality wise, in my opinion. Dog

Thanks Bill and Kevin. That's kinda what I thought it might be. I agree with being worth the wait. I think his bodies are the best quality highest detailed bodies out there. Maybe I'm a little anxious . I appreciate the input. Jeff

I have ordered many items from him over the years and have always received them. Not sure but I believe he is a one man business. He is unlike some of the other businesses we have gotten use to over the years in that they will inform you the order has been received and processed and then shipped out with a tracking number! Superjet does not do that. Again I have always received my orders and pleased with the quality. Regards Alan

Thanks Alan for the input. I have ordered from him on several occasions as well and he sponsored one of my races. Life can get in the way of things sometimes and I thought maybe someone here might know of something going on. No doubt that Superjet bodies are top shelf and in demand. That's a good thing.

The first "enhanced" stock 1972 Vega GT casting is out of the mold. Very pleased....the casting came out very clean. I am going to cast a few more of these and then get to work on the Pro Mod version. The body will be widened more. Lots of unfinished projects on the desk right now that I need to get........finished.

Ongoing project work at AJR. I am not keeping the Chevy Luv truck and since it is a narrow body, I decided to build and set up a chassis to go with it. Chassis components are stock 4 gear with the exception of the front axle and wheels and the stock AFX rear wheels and tires. The body mounts have been removed, hubs on AFX wheels removed, cluster rivet tightened and glued, and silicone tires cut to size and glued to rim. I went ahead and put a base tune on the truck and it is track ready as it sits........or as a shelf queen. I knew when I built this truck that the rear wheels were offset slightly with the body opening, but it wasn't enough that I wanted to recut the opening. With the stock AFX wheel, this offset is more exaggerated. But it is what it is, I will not be changing it. I think for this type body it is a little more acceptable.

Still waiting on my Super Jet bodies although I did get notification through Paypal that they are on their way. In the meantime....two castings of the stock Vega have been made. One I will paint and finish out and the other will be turned into the Pro Mod version. PM car will be split to the front of the windshield and widened slightly, air dam will be added as well as body post and saddle mounts. I might lower the roof, but everything else will be left up to the customizer. My first version that I paint will be blown.

Another 660slots casting project almost completed. The "Wicked One" twin turbo Mustang Pro Mod. I have loved this body for years and finally got a few awhile back. Just now getting around to actually putting some color on one of these beauties. A little more color sanding, one more coat of clear, chute cords and I can stick a fork in it because it will be done .

Update on Vega Pro Mod project. This is how I go about widening most bodies if needed. Doesn't look like much difference, and that is kind of my goal, but there is quite a bit in the rear wheel wells. Still requires narrowed wheels to be tucked. It is now ready for some "bondo" work. I am really looking forward to this one.........am a fan of the Pinto's and the Vega's. Got my Super Jet Monte Carlo bodies last week finally. They are beauties as expected, but a little communication still would have put my mind at ease. Part of the issue was once they were finally posted, USPS delayed delivery additional days. All is well and I am very happy to have them and will also purchase more in the future.

Here's a small Gasser project that I slipped in. No paint on this one other than brush detail and clear coat. Added decals, blower scoop, and header dumps. This car will see some track tuning time as well.

This is the first AJR Pro Mod Mustang nearing completion. It is all done except for the clear coat. Found the Boss striping kit on Ebay. I would give the quality of these particular ones about a 7......they look better on the car than they did on the paper. Will clear coat this one and one more tomorrow.
