Sweet Jeff the striping kit looks nice. Who made it? Thanks Robert. Got decals from teresawulf www.ebay.com/usr/teresawulf?_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2754 on Ebay. Jim Heller Decals and Custom Cars is the store. Like I said, these were not the best quality but they ended up looking good on the car. They also sent me an extra two sets I think for that reason. Ordered some others and they look really nice. Kit includes hood, side, and lower rear quarter striping. I cut down the hood stripes because I painted the center section due to the scoop. I used what I cut down to do the spoiler. Sponsor decals are RRR which are nothing less than awesome.

Here is the 2nd car headed to the clear coat booth. I did a car almost identical to this awhile back and had a request to do another one. It is a Super Jet '85 Monte Carlo Pro Mod that I added a blower and chutes to. I will post a couple more pics after clearing. I am still using an acrylic clear, but will be moving to a much better clear system very soon. But even the acrylic will make a huge difference in the appearance.

A shot from the rail of my Inline Stock entries for the 2017 Fall Nationals at Smoky Mountain Dragway during tuning night at the track. Same cars that ran at the Manuf. Challenge, but with some internal changes. Hauler left this morning headed for Tennessee.

Next up on the AJR chopping block is a '52 Chevy Step Side. This will be turned into yet another Pro Mod that will resemble JJ Da Boss's 'Ole Heavy. I think that is a very sharp looking ride and I already have a thing for the trucks anyway. Need to finish up some projects currently on the desk and then get into this one and get it cast. This is not how the truck will sit.....I just had to cram it down on a chassis and see it. Truck will be widened slightly and top chopped.

Thanks guys for the good word. It will be a little while before I get the truck cast, but it will happen as quickly as possible. I will be making some of my castings available soon. Supply is limited. Not trying to make a business out of it......just letting the hobby sustain itself. I'm enjoying creating the cars a lot.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! It's been a great year of racing again at Nitroslots!! I want to thank all the racers, Racemasters, contributors, lurkers,......everyone that has been a part of it! This forum has become a part of my everyday life over the years. I look forward to the races...customs...tuning info...etc like a little kid waiting for cartoons to come on. I hope to see that continue for years and years to come. Cheers to family, good health and happiness, a great year past of racing each other, and an upcoming 2018 racing season!!

I have several projects going on right now and it has really slowed things down. I am trying to wrap up some slot car obligations so I can get to work on a long awaited 1/1 project. This one is ready for the clear coat. It's a 660slots Firebird Pro Mod with the Pink Panther logo. This was a special request after I did the Chevy Luv. The two 4 gear chassis in the back are set up for drag racing......wheelie wheel fronts, Wizz E81 brushes, braids/shunts, cluster gear screw mod, Super tires rears. One has an Eagle custom wound/bal 4.0 ohm mega advanced motor and the other has a Dash Quadralam 4.0 ohm. Those go with the Firebird and another body still in paint. I get to fire up the track and make some hot passes with those soon.
