Thanks Robert. I am anxious to get that one finished. Work on the trucks has slowed a little while I get caught up on some other projects, but here are a few pics of the 52 Chevy Pro Mod version. It is close to being able to mold it. I did chop the top on this one. I could have gone a little more with it, but decided to leave where it's at. I'm thinking about offering this truck with two options....with scoop and with blower. It really needs a roll cage too, but I will probably leave that up to the builder to do. I'm anxious to get this one cast as well!

Here's the AJR Team headed to Tennessee at the end of the week. Snap On funny car is Super Comp BSRT G3, Leihua's Rose Tbird #1 4GO, Dream Crusher Mustang #3 PSO, Vega GT Super Stock DR-1, The Hawaiian Vet Stock DR-1. I'm interested in seeing how the DR-1 stands up against the other chassis. Still not sure if I'm running the Vega GT or Shaker Vega PM on the SS DR-1.

Looks like a tough group. Jeff's cars are always strong runners. I like those wheels also. Where did you find them?

Well I don't know how well any of them are going to do?? They run respectable, that's all I can say. I wanted to make sure and support Smoky Mountain Dragway and Nitroslots. Wheels are 1/24 scale wheelie bar wheels from Pacific Slot Car Raceways. Here's the link...... www.shoppscr.com/wheels-tires/drag-racing/wheelie-wheels

Don't know the answer to that, but it is one of Sam's bodies and I see a hole in the frame for a post screw. It's probably post and saddle.

Right! I see the hole now. I've got a motor similar to that one. Came from a R/C helicopter rear rotor. Undriverable at higher volts in the chassis I was running. That one looks sorted. Thanks for posting.

A couple of new Pro Mods out of the AJR garage. An AJR Nova and Vega. I know there are a ton of flamed cars out there, but I haven't done a lot of them and the Nova is the first "flame fade" that I've done. These are for a customer in Arizona. I still have a blown version of the Vega to do yet. All colors are lacquer nail polish with All Kandy Wet Wet 2 part urethane clear on top. As always....I am still working on my paint application and getting the clear right. I have solved my fisheye issue I was having early on. I believe that was due to me spaying mold release to near the paint area. Since moving outside to do that, the problem has stopped. Now I'm seeing a little "solvent pop" but I think I know how to take care of that as well. I will know on the next one. I have only used this clear on 3 cars so far, but I really do like it!
