The Angry Jeff garage has some new resin to work with. This is an awesome Hairy Canary full bodied front engine dragster that I am building for the September race.Thank you again Rick for sending me this beauty. Lots of surface area for some cool paint!! This is the very early roughing in stage of the build. Robbed a slightly larger front wing off of an AW Top Fuel, but otherwise the body is as Rick designed it.

Jeff looks really good. I like what your doing. The larger front wings makes a big difference in the look. Glade you like it. Rick

Thanks Rick. I always do a little something to make them my own. The wing was a small change and I've never seen this body with zoomies, so I though I would try that as well. Think I'm going with some old school flames, but not sure on colors yet.

Finished the Hairy Canary 4 gear Super Comp dragster for the upcoming Texas Nationals. It originally had flames on the sides but the paint peeled on the right side when I was untaping it. So I repaired it and was really proud of that repair too......till it peeled the paint up AGAIN. Now it has the red to silver fade. Sometimes that stuff happens. The only other option would have been to start over and I did not want to do that.
This is the finished '52 Chevy truck body I will be running on my Stock DR-1.

Thank you guys for the good word. I said in an earlier post that the truck has a little too much rake to it, but it's due to the large rear tire I am running. Rick I really liked the way the dragster looked with the flames on the top and the sides so I was a little bummed when I had the unmasking problems. Thank you again for providing the "canvas". This now one of my favorite cars in the box.

It feels good when you can figure out a way to correct/save a possible disaster!!! I like the side fade myself, with a touch of flames on top... Did I mention the cool truck!!! Both look great...RM

Thanks for the good words guys! I thought I had my bodies figured out for the race, but I just had to try the '62 C10 truck body on the DR-1 chassis. It fits perfectly. This chassis is my Super Stock chassis that ran with the Vega body in Spring at Smoky Mountain Dragway. I just had to pull the braids off. I have some SG+ and G3 chassis, but want to see how the DR-1's stand up against the competition. They did well at Smoky Mountain Dragway. We will see. I will be running two truck bodies now .
