I'm getting into HO scale drag racing . I also race 1/24th scale as well .
Are there any classes for Die Cast cars converted to Slot Drag Racers ?
If so , how do they mount etc ?
Thx , Gonzo

Gonzo as of right now none of the classes are set up for using a diecast body. Alll of the cclasses are for plasic or resin bodies. With the guys we have that do resin casting ( Hairy Canary,SKR, Eagle Racing and Lonestar Racing and Resins) plus numerous others from the web, there's plent of other stuff avaliable. As far as mounting the bodies I've seen posts epoxied in or drill the original post for screws, two sided tape, velcro, or hot glue. Just depends on the chassis and the body.

If you narrow the front wheels and rear wheels/tyres, you can fit them inside many diecast bodies (same as for resins).
I did convert some HW diecast to slot drags by installing a motor etc into them, but alot of work..
