Very cool! Curious to see what it would do against a comparable 2 wheel drive.

Just has to be an inline and it is. You welcome to enter the bracket race. Would be pretty cool to watch it run, come join the fun ;D.

Well, after getting the track back on line, managed to squeeze out a .56 1/8 mile @30v with the AWD Ver2 sorry about the fuzzy pics but... Now to either wind my own or buy a drag arm and work on the gear ratio (stock now)and and and who knows

Hint : a good chassis for this conversion is the Tyco 440x2, it has a lot of open space in front of the bulkhead for the front crown gear without too much chopping. Can also leave the pickups shoes in the original locations as well. If done properly, it would look factory !

Continuing with the all wheel drive, now I have morphed not only a LL but P3 and 440 to boot and the bodies that go with them Ok maybe I'm a little bored but it's winter here so while I'm resurfacing the track

Cool stuff. Never have tried with an inline. Have done t-jets by splicing plates. Can't tell by pic, did you extend shaft or use a custom arm to get front pinion on.
Have to look around to see what chassis I have laying around.

Thanks for the info. Will check nto it . TCR......
Read through the thread from start. Sounds like a NTRA bracket car to me. Have afew 440x2s around. You should join the nexf race. Brackets only have to be inline. Kit bashed, scratch built, no matter. C'mon show us what you got (just funnin) at the next rsce. The more the merrier.
Now thinking about the brush arrangements for different chassis. Any overheating problems with TCR arm. I know LL and Tyco are close to 90 degrees different in orientation, the brushes.

Can't remember which one (tyco or afx) only use the wide gap arms so heat does not seem to be an issue. Besides, only use them for drag racing 1/8th mile at that. I use the same arms for my two wheel drive rails and they will do constant under .2-.30 1/8ths.
