My good buddy Phil Burgess, editor at NHRA's National Dragster, ran photos and copy on Lions Drag Strip at the Lions Reunion in his Insider column on NHRA.com: www.nhra.com/blog/dragster-insider/Phil plans to run a similar piece in the print version of National Dragster early next year. Hopefully Nitroslots.com will pick up some interest (and some participants!) among the 1:1 drag racers. With the new Auto World Jungle Jim/Blue Max set coming out in time for Christmas, the timing is good for HO slot racing to get a boost. Cheers, Rick V.

Nice job Rick. It sounds like you and your track made quite an impression. I hope it sparks some new interest for the hobby.

great stuff Rick. All of us HO Drag Enthusiast can't thank you enough for all the exposure you have given our hobby. I have to admit that it was really cool clicking on NHRA.com last night and seeing a familiar track and cars on the first page.

Great article. Nice coverage of the event and the track. May have to dub Lions Drag Strip as the flagship of NTRA host tracks. Have noticed in the past few days increased activity, small growth in membership, and activity of long standing members that have not been active in a while. A much needed boost. Will be great if they can be transformed from Nitroslot forum gawkers to active participants in the 2013 race calendar. Great job Rick!

Great exposure!! Definitely a good thing for our hobby! Haven't been able to read the whole article yet, but I will when I get off work. I am super excited about our upcoming season and I too hope this helps boost race entries and membership. Thanks Rick!

Read the article, love it. The banter, the stories, the backin forth is such great fun to read, love it. As always Rick's track is Top Shelf. Can not say enough about what Rick does for HO Drag Racing, thank you.
