Im trying to hunt down some pics of super stock t jets and cant find any. I have a few question about the class also.
Can wheel bars be used?
Are traction magnets allowed?

What wheels and tires is everyone using? Im not sure I understand that part of the rules.

From looking at the pics of the cars and the tuning and tips. RRR front wheel are used on both front and rear. With the front having orings for front tires and the rear wheels a taller size wheel.

I have a few of the afx pullback chassis. Would the wheels off of them be able to be used in the super stock class or any class the we run.

Tires: ANY REAR TIRE READILY AVAILABLE THROUGH RETAIL OUTLET (STORE OR INTERNET) NOT EXCEEDING A DIAMETER OF .460 NOR A WIDTH OF .215 SHALL BE LEGAL FOR SUPERSTOCK COMPETITION The front tires fall within diameter and width limitations, but the rear tires are too wide. You can use the front tires on all four wheels of your car and be within the requirements of the rules. The wheel is different from the stock wheels and will not accept most stock or even third party tires made for slot cars. This leaves you stuck with the tires that come with the wheels. If you are trying to achieve a look this is an alternative. But I think your performance will be greatly diminished if using the tires that come on the pullback. Another thing to consider is that front wheels cannot extend beyond the car's fender. |
