what is the best way to trim (narrow) the rear tire hubs on a 4 gear?

Probably not the best way but I lay a piece of sand paper flat on the table and hold the hub tightly and sand in a circular motion to try and keep even. Seems to work great for me.

Easiest way I've seen is to mount the wheel on an axle, put it in a drill and spin it while using a razor saw or knife to slice off what you don't want. If you look at the 4 Gear tech tips I think it goes into more detail about this.
