We had a couple of race teams arrive late yesterday afternoon. We got them all checked in.
 Wazzers #15 and #16 N/FC entries were the first to come thru the gates. A couple of very nice looking Vegas. Right on their taillights was 79malibu with his #6 Camaro and #7 Corvette Street entries.It has begun!!

2 more teams rolled in today.
kbuck with his single Street entry. A clean looking GTX.
jimrussell arrived a little later with a full race team effort. The Street entries started unloading almost as soon as they stopped. A couple of late model Challengers look ready.
Not too far behind are the other 2 cars in the team. A purple N/FC Mustang and a yellow N//TF.

Haulers left around noon today, should be there soon. Please don't give these guys directions to any place that leads towards the border. Even if Doug's crew offers you money.

4 out of 5 are complete and in the box. Trying to finish the FED tonight and get them all in the mail tomorrow. FED wont have any paint on it and the funny cars only got rattle canned for now.

phantombse pulls in today with another very impressive full team! 2 entries in N/TF. What looks like an inline hybrid and a conventional pancake.
 2 in N/FC. A couple of race ready funny cars. The General Lee made it in as one of two Street entries......
 .....and a red Firebird as the second. Looks like they are going to settle in for the night and finish unloading in the morning. Texas is a looong way from N.J. These guys are worn out.

Finally finished my FED, all 5 cars will be in the mail tomorrow and should be there Thursday. Had trouble fitting the magnets and had to make a tool to cut down the brushes to fit. It runs though. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Mine headed out this morning and should be there Friday. After some thought, I decided to give mine away after the race to help promote and grow this class. Basically if you are already racing FED this weekend then you're not eligible. For those that are not racing this class, shoot me a message and I'll enter your name into the drawing box.  |

My racers hit the road for the short trip north today. I think my FED looks more like a go-kart with the small rear wheels but the ones I had bought did not fit the wheels I had. Gearing should be plenty low to let the motor wind up. Hopefully it won't wind out too soon. It's hard to build something like this when you don't have a place to test run it. Gotta work on that.

The arrival pace is starting to pick up now. Had a flurry of haulers come thru the gates today.
Slotfather made the short hour long drive from up north with his 2 N/TF cars. He is planning on a little pre race testing.
Heres ninjatek unloading his 2 Charger entries in street. Uh Oh....there's the Po Po in the black Charger. I hope everyone will be behaving.
 Check out his Blues Bros N/TF....very nice. There's some work been put in on this one. Racers better be heads up.
Here is his other N/TF F.E.D. This one was entered in the last race in January at Black Top Raceway. Glad to see it back.
Ninja's last entry to show up is his blue Jungle Jim Nova in the N/FC class.

Pceng and doug412 split the cost of a few haulers to move their cars west. The Street entries were the first to get here. A very clean 55 Chevy and an equally clean Dodge Challenger.
Pceng's striped green F.E.D. looks like it's ready for some dealin'. Another inline car in the mix.
.....and 1 N/FC entry each. Doug412 with a Mustang and pceng with a sharp 1970 Cuda.
Hey did anybody see that? That car wasn't there a minute ago. It's.....it's like it just appeared. Hmmm....that's pretty wierd. That looks like doug412's N/TF entry Drag u la.

Had a few other arrivals today as well......Hairy Canary, one of our race sponsors, with lots of resin bodies to give away, bondoman2k, also a race sponsor, with his race entries and more great prizes from Lone Star Resins, and dragfool with his 2 cars. He actually is one of a few that are traveling east to get here. We will get them checked in and post some pics tomorrow. Less than 3 days remains till the SPRING NATIONALS. I can feel the excitement building!!
