RACE FORMAT AND SCHEDULE Welcome to 2013 NTRA Spring Nationals. The weather is a little gloomy today, but should not cause us any issues. It will actually be a good day to be racing.......indoors. This is the projected racing schedule and format for the weekend. Street and N/FC will be qualified this morning. Results and pics will be posted shortly thereafter. Cars were qualified by running 1 run in each lane. A and B brackets for each class were then divided. This gave each car 2 opportunities to run a good time to get into the A bracket instead of running them against each other. We are utilizing an adjusted single elimination ladder for all classes with an 8 or 16 car field. Placement on ladder is based on qualifying time. All cars outside of the field will run against each other in a preliminary round for a spot. Saturday's schedule: Qualifying will be run and results posted, ladder placement will be posted prior to each round. Street B bracket eliminations will run first, N/FC B bracket eliminations second, and we will finish up with the BAD BOY N/TF qualifying. Sundays schedule: Recap of qualifying postions, Street A bracket eliminations will run first, N/FC A bracket eliminations will run second, and N/TF will close the show. That's about it. We've got some work to do now. The track is in great shape. Lanes are running even, so there is no advantage either way. Anyway..........enough talk........let's get this thing going. Looks like some tough cars to beat. Everyone did a great job on their rails and my Son of Drag-U-La is so short but it may just be that advantage i need... Nice!! Wish everyone LUCK!! Sorry guys...running a little behind due to numerous tech issues with cars. We are getting thru it. Mail has run and we had one more arrival....sjracer. Sorry sukafish, the cars did not show up yet. Sjracer, since we are behind, your A and B cars will run. Stay tuned.

Great job on the videos. I thought I heard some more of the Eagle family in the background? maybe feeding on a sukafish? That's a bummer about your cars not arriving Chris.

Street qualifying is now complete. Sjracer is our TQ with a 1.037. He shows up fashionably late and takes the honors. Congratulations sjracer. The table below is the B bracket qualifying positions. First round ladder will follow.

I'm starting to think the com drops were not a good idea, that qualifying time is slower then my stock class Tjet ran. Really wishing I hadn't used that stuff on all my cars now.

Round 1 of the Street B bracket race has been completed.
Race 1 matched the #1 B qualifier TGM2054 against the #8 qualifier chriswfo. Criswfo's cars had some mechanical issues in qualifying ( they ran backwards ). We took them to tech. and switched the magnets. TGM2054 takes the win here easily with a 1.412.
Race 2 pitted sjracer and his patriotic Camaro against phantombse with his Duke Boys General Lee. This race was a little closer, but phontombse is able to put the Camaro on the trailer.
Race 3 wins the honors of upset of the day ( so far ) as ninjatek and the Po Po car take a holeshot victory over pceng's slick 55 Chevy. Ninjatek's team goes crazy at the line.
Race 4, the last race of Round 1 is the #2 qualifyer jimrussell and his clean yellow Challenger against 79malibu's green Camaro. Jimrussell takes the win without any problem and moves onto the next round.
Semi finals coming up.

Semi Finals of Street B bracket is now in the books. No upsets to speak of in this round. Race 1 of the semi finals puts TGM2054 up against phantombse. TGM2054's Nomad is running pretty strong today...the Dukes are going to have to be on the light to have any kind of a chance in this one. TGM got the holeshot, but went into tire shake almost immediately....the General Lee goes by, but the horsepower of the Nomad runs him down and takes the win.
 2nd race of the semi finals is ninjatek and Po Po Charger next to jimrussell. Can ninja pull another holeshot upset?? No....he pushes a little too hard and turns on the red light. That gives the win to jimrussell's Challenger.Street B bracket finals are set. TGM2054 will be going up against jimrussell. A classic Chevy against Dodge matchup.

We have a B bracket final Winner!! 
Jimrussell is our WINNER! His crew found some power between rounds. He went a full tenth faster than the last round with a 1.366 which definetly helped him to get past TGM2054'S slowing 1.699. The Nomad's tire shake continued in that round. Congratulations to jimrussell. Good luck in the A main tomorrow.

N/FC B bracket preliminary rounds are complete and the 1st round ladder is set. Here are the race results.....
Race 1 of the prelims had TGM2054's Omni deslotting and giving the win to dragfools green Vega.
Chriswfo has to get off the line quick if he has any chance to beat sjracer......and he does...... .008RT. But it still isn't enough as sjracer motors past and never looks back.
