Today is finals day!! We have spent the first part of this morning in tech. with a (3) of the N/TF entries. These cars had gear and/or tire issues that have been corrected. This in an effort to get them a qualifying spot. If they do not make it in this time, they will have to take a DNQ. We tried...  Todays race schedule will start with the completion of the N/TF qualifying. Then we will move on to Street eliminations, N/FC, and finish with the F.E.D.'s. We are going to try and provide more info. today if possible (it is time consuming compiling the info. to post). Lots of stuff to get done today! Let's have some more fun and good luck to everyone!!

During qualifying we had some issues that are worth mentioning quickly here. We had two cars that had trouble deslotting going down the track....pceng and doug412. That is reflected in qualifying position. We did what we could to help and get them qualified. Let's see how it goes from here. Jimrussell blew the tires off, so we glued them on for him. Ninjatek had gear and p/u problems that were corrected in tech. Bondoman2k had a spun pinion and wheelie bars were lifting rear tires off track. Tech. replaced with new pinion and adjusted bars.

Son 0f Dragula may have qualified dead last but i'm not out of it yet... Grandpa Al always had a trick up his sleeve so lets Race!! Good Luck Everyone!!

Best of luck to everyone in todays race. Also, thanks to all the sponsors, keep these guys in mind when looking for parts. And a extra thank you to the track and crew for all the hard work they put in this weekend, looks like another great drag race.

.21 between us on the street.. The Challenger might take the Vette, stranger things are know to happen. Maybe a few seconds longer warm up and i'll be in the winners circle.. lol I'm already happy cause my Challenger beat out PCeng's Heavy Chevy Can't wait to see what's next!Hoping in the N/FC my Mustang gallops over his Cuda... and in the N/TF well i'm the first to do a Drag-U-La and the last one to join the sight... lol Win lose or draw, i'm happy just to show!! |

We have (1) preliminary race for the 8th position in field. This is the ladder showing preliminary and Round 1 matchups.
 79malibu beat Kbuck in the preliminary round to move into the #8 spot. First round is set.

Was busy yesterday, checked in this morning. and seems I've lost an entry. Sent one for each class. Saw only two on qualifying lists. Nothing for Street? (wht.55 chevy #8)
Guess I got to look further ................ Good luck all ..... PC

Found car in yesterdays stuff. No matter mate ( practicing for this summer, does that work in New Zealand ).
Have to say that every time you guys do a race the pics keep getting better great job fella's.

Street A main round 1 is now complete.
In the preliminary Kbuck goes against 79malibu. The GTX needs a really good light to get past Corvette. He goes for it, but takes off a split second early and gives the win to 79malibu. Kbuck 2.158.....79malibu 1.950.
TGM2054 gets the holeshot in race 2 against jimrussell, but the big Hemi power is just too much for the Chevy and the Challenger passes him for the win. TGM 1.416.....jimrussell 1.277.
Chriswfo stages his Challenger in the RH lane and doug412 pulls up next to him in the LH lane. They both stage and chriswfo get off first. It's a good race till the horsepower of doug's car pulls away on the top end. Winner doug412 1.317......chriswfo 1.432.
Race 3 finds ninjatek's Charger against phantombse's Firebird. Ninja needs a good light to have any kind of a chance here, but he leaves early and gives it away to the phantom. Ninja had nothing to lose and everything to gain. OH well...that racing. Phantombse 1.433......ninjatek 1.701.
Last race of round 1 is the #1 qualifier sjracer up against the #9 qualifier of 79malibu. 79malibu tries his best to hit the light with .000, but pushes too hard and brings the bottom bulb on. The #1 qualifier moves on. sjracer 1.261....79malibu 1.558.
