Semi finals are complete for Street A main!!! We have our finalists. Doug412......did you make it???
First race of the semis was a great one. Jimrussell cuts a fantastic light with a .009 and gets the jump on #1 Corvette, but that Corvette is strong and drives right around the Challenger. Sjracer 1.178....jimrussell 1.302. The Corvette goes all the way from #1 to the finals.
Here we go for the second spot in the Finals. Doug412 pulls thru the water box and gets ready to stage. Phantombse pulls thru as well and they both stage. The drivers leave about the same time. It's a good race and Doug412 pulls it out in the traps. Doug412 1.313....phantombse....1.381.
Street a finals are ready and up next!!!! Who's gonna get it???

We have the Street A WINNER!!!!
Doug412 makes it to the finals for the second race in a row. But he's going up against sjracers very strong Chevy. They both come off the line close, but that Corvette is on a roll and cannot be beat today. Sjracer 1.125.....doug412 1.319.
Congratulations sjracer....you are the 2013 Spring Nationals Street Champion!!!

Congratulations SJracer on the win. Having fun with this today, keep it up guys.
OMG .... not going to hear the end of this for a while. Can't even imagine what I'd be hearing if Doug pulled the last one out. Yep ..... he's starting right now. I should be thanking SJ!
Keith ... wh...wh...what happened? Our drivers must have been hanging out together, don't feel bad mine didn't know what day it was.
Good luck in the N/FC guys............ Peter

The N/FC prelims are complete and the field is set. Here we go......
Race 1 has 2 very sharp looking funny cars pulling to the line. Dragfools driver needs a good light, but he does the opposite and hesitates and watches pceng's Cuda taillights all the way. Pceng 1.506....dragfool 1.587.
Next up for race 2 is a Cuda vs Cuda. They come off the line close but the horsepower and the win go to chriswfo with a 1.590 to a losing 1.958 of TGM2054.
This IS the last chance to get into the field for ninjatek and sjracer. Both drivers are slow to get off the line, but leave close together. Sjracer takes it with a 1.417 to a 2.486.
N/FC A round 1 is set.

Here are the N/FC A preliminary matchups.
Wouldn't this be considered first round of eliminations with qualifying positions 1-5 automaticly being advanced to the second round? Just curious.

You can call it what you want. It all ends up the same. This is an 8 car field and these cars are fighting it out for the final positions in the 8 car field. This is an adjusted ladder so there are no bye runs.
