You need a big pillow at the end, or at least a laundry basket. LOL. But, it brings back memories. I remember when I was a kid (some 45 years ago) we would scrounge part and pieces from the trash at the local Slot Car track. You can't imagine what guys through out back then. Anyway, we would put together some resemblance of a dragster, held together with tape and glue. We proceeded to then set the Dragstrip power to full tilt and let her rip. Usually ending in a heap of smoking carnage. Keep up the good work LOL. Keith

One thing I do like are these electronic scooter controllers, now have the capability to ACCURATELY (+/- .003v)deliver to both lanes 15-60 volts at top end. Just have to try winding my own arms with .28 gauge and beef up the comms to handle the 60v....

What I really like is when the voltage is set at the max(60v)you don't necessarily want to use all available power. It's almost like the big boys, if you mash the throttle at the line 9 out of 10 times the vehicle will jump track or the comm will melt down on the spot. Before or when the voltage is set at 24v there really isn't any driving challenge, the only real challenge was RT(and at 55 it is still a challenge) . Just trying to bring a little bit of realism to the sport. One thing for sure is that if you try this please make sure your power supply is no more than 5 amps @ 60v, I'm not a electrical engineer but I would imagine any more amperage and you will weld the vehicle to the track or weld the comm to the brush tubes. Keep on racing
