Is there any advantage to using one chassis over another? I had planned to use an Aurora chassis for my gasser build but there is a dwindling supply of NOS chassis and I thought it might be better to cut up a newer one and save the Aurora for a class that requires it.

I find the gears to be better on my AW vs JL. I also got better results with my AW chassis than my Aurora.

Thought this might apply to all t - jet type chassis......(thread that said lesson's was locked)...... Lesson's was right.....never thought about this before...... started messing with stock chassis (t-jet for race)..... been awhile since doing anything with it , last race used dust got blown off. So in essence it ran once and sat for the better part of two or three years...... it has been that long since doing anything with the brushes or brush springs.....
Question - Does anybody know if the pressure exerted by the brush contacts will weaken over time ? Pressure on brushes was so weak car would not run....... never been problem before.......happened after cleaning...... ran very weak and stopped when turned upside down.....looking inside chassis brushes were low projecting ftom pockets........ adjusted tabs so brushes projected higher from pockets , and car seems ok.
