Hi, Was hoping someone could help me get my track up and running. I have the Slotdragon setup and everything seems to be working fine but the tree. I have fiddle with jiggling wires and covering the stage sensors in the start line were the only way I was able to get it to work....twice- but that was short lived as I tried to move the wires around out of the way,it had quit again. Please help the fustrated drag racer sitting at home all alone with no tree. Thanks V

First thing to check is the lighting over the start line sensors. Hold a good light source over the sensors and try staging a car. Sounds like you may have a loose wire but try and eliminate it is not a lighting issue first!

Hey vman....Sorry to hear about your trouble. I am no expert on the system, but I have had to do a little troubleshooting. Kiwidave is correct with making sure the lighting is correct....that is very imprortant. My initial problem was that my light source was too bright. Have you gone thru the troubleshooting steps on the Slotdragon site? I would definitely start there. Go thru every step and verify correct operation. Make very sure your light source and sensor calibration are working properly before going further. I had a similar problem that turned out to be a sensor that was intermittently shorting out. Ordered some replacements and it fixed the problem. Make sure all the cables are connected properly as well. Not saying that you haven't already done these things, but more often than not, it could be a fundamental problem. Hope this helps....be sure and give us an update. Will continue to try and help.
