I have the AW Champions Challenge Drag Strip
It uses Output 13.5volts. Can i use a train transformer instead

Yes, I had a train transformer powering my AW drag strip up until I got another power supply

Did you hook the track up to the DC or AC side?

I couldn't remember
The last time I hooked it up like that was when I was a kid. Went through a lot of gears lol
