I purchased the materials tonight to add 8 ft. to the drag strip. That will make it a full 1/4 mile with a 4 ft. shutdown! That will let me run it on 3 - 6ft. banquet tables or without the extra 8 ft. on my slot car track. I will be ordering a Slot Dragon timing system soon to replace the Autoworld system. I will be using the Bondoman sensors. Central Florida HO Racers (CFHOR) is adding drag racing to our race schedule for 2013 - 2014. Terry Flynn, Harden Creek Racing Products, has also constructed a 1/4 mile drag strip that will also be used as part of the series.

Very cool. Ask for the Slotdragon2 when you order yours. Say Gidday to Terry from me next time you see him. I've been keeping him up to date on what I have been doing hoping the drag racing bug will bite him!!!!

Hi Kiwidave,
Thaks for the complement! All of the woodwork is done as well as the painting. I will be mounting the track and skirting to the 8 ft. addition next week. I will let Terry know that you said Hi when I see him. What's the difference between Slot Dragon and Slot Dragon 2 for drag racing? Thanks in advance for your help.

Slot Dragon 2 has reaction times in the negatives SD1 doesn't have this feature.
