My first new Dash T Jet chassis was in the mail today. I like the way it looks, the copper parts on the bottom look very close to the original Aurora T Jet, the brass gears look the same as well. The gearing is the same as the original, for untouched gears they operated reasonably smooth. It had the stronger Dash Magnets installed, the brushes look like AW ones. I fired up the 1/4 mi Drag strip and oiled up the chassis with some high quality Free Jet oil. I ran it against my White Team Mustang that qualified 3rd in the first Psycho Slot stock T Jet race at Alstars in Florida. At 13.2v It ran a 3.1 to the Mustangs 1.2 not ready to worry yet the Dash was untouched, and the Mustang has been Blue Printed and is a very smooth runner. anyways some photos. I have 9 more coming and hope to get a couple of quick ones out of the group DOG

I know the race schedule is hecktic but has any one tinkered with the Dash-jet? Mine sound strong free wheelin but seem to be sluggish running 18 volts on the drag strip. They also stop dead when they hit the un-powered section of the track. Humm?
