Hmmm......you post pic and make it look and sound like I broke your car. I did not know that a tire was lost. I thought it must of been in orginal box, but was in fact blown off in race and not found. That happens in racing. Then you leave out the part where I offered to replace your tire. Peters car was damaged in the race from a crash. It knocked his front window out and chipped the paint. Then you post pic of damaged box. Which shows that this is not my fault. Then you claim you got burned in Texas. Now I,m suppose to think your not trying to be a TOOL. With that being said, I agree let's move on.

As far as racing incidents go. My winning Firebird had one as well during the race. It flew off the track, bounced off the wall, and onto the floor. Why it happened, I'm not sure but it did. It wasn't because of neglegence. Broke my scoop off and my rear window out and chipped the paint. Also had the same thing happen to both cars during testing at my track. Some of these cars can get very violent when things go wrong. By the looks of the box, that is probably where your car got broken. Would have been nice if you showed a pic of it in the first place instead of acting like we broke it Doug. This is the last time I'm going to say this....we are careful with the cars and truly hate it when things happen to them. If you don't feel that we are, then I suggest maybe not sending them. I hope that you still will though. I really don't feel that open forum is the place to handle these types of things. But when accusations are made, I feel a need to defend my position. If there is anything that I can do to help remedy the situation Doug, send me a PM and let me know.

not to beat a dead horse as it has already been resolved but I thought I throw my .02 in. Sending cars to any event to compete has risk. My best advice would to make sure you get insurance and send extra money for additional insurance for the ride home which you may have already done. Collecting on it may be an entirely different nightmare. The worse damage I've ever had happen to a proxy car was when 440GTX's Tjet funny car hit the wall after the shutdown area and it broke the body in half. It was my fault and I felt bad about it because I did not look at the shutdown area to see if the towel was in place to help slow the cars. I contacted 440 and offered to replace the body and he said " glue it back together and run it, just a racing incident". Great attitude to have. The worse mailing incident I've ever had was when Kdog and myself made a trade. I traded some Mead bros. bodies for a bike stem. When the bodies showed up to his house they were smashed into small pieces, he said it looked like a forklift ran the box over. That was really an unfortunate incident because they were finished bodies that you can't get anymore with decals and I didn't buy insurance . Doug, Looks like you will be able to fix Dragula back up, I hope to see it at the next event badder than ever. If you need any parts, let me know.
