Ok here is a sensitive subject. I am running out of my original Aurora oil and can not find a suitable replacement. Most of what I tried leaches onto the com plate and brushes fouling everything out. Sooooooooo
what is every one useing for oil??

Sooooooooo what is every one useing for oil?? I ve been using BSRT general purpose synthetic and haven't had any issues. Their products seem to be pretty good. For what it's worth. |

Hey all, been using PB blaster for testing (when things are beiing assemmbled). Does not last long, parts are dry in a short time.
Slick 7, I think is the company that makes GlideX. Synthetic, for bushings. Works ok for gears also. Need to be careful not to over oil.
Niftech, Hyper Drops is a com treatment/oil. I use it for breaking in, or seating brushes.
Just picked-up a quart of synthetic 5w-20w. If it works I'll have a lifetime supply for 5.-. Been seeing more and more people using synthetic motor oils, figured I'd give it a try. If it doesn't work out I, can dump whatever is left in car.

Thunder Oil for tjet gears always worked pretty good for me. I like the BSRT oil for armatrues and axles.
