Hey Alan, good.to.see you back.
Just watched.opening ceremonies. Had to see.if it would be a ballerina or tanks.
Now I can start looking over QT's. Not just mine, eeeeeeverbodys. Things looked close at a glance before.

Yea it would be nice to see some shots of the whole field... Like to see everyone's cars! Coverage and racing the first time out is tough i know and you've got way more going on with 3 classes.. Good luck Racers and Phantom the track does look great! Race On Doug412

We had Lots of car trouble in N/TF but all is good now.

For those who could not view the quals from Pomona it looks like is is going to be a great year for NHRA and the viewers.
Lots of new equipment and very colorful too!
John Force sets new F/C record at 324 mph at 3.996 secs and Robert Height breaks the 4 sec barrier!
Ron Capps blows the body off his ride with a VERY BIG EXPLOSION. Got to see it to believe it! He is OK
Mike Edwards in PRO STOCK did not return this years. Sold all his car and equipment to someone else.
For those who love the new Camaro - lots of them on the track and very colorful.
Cannot wait for the Auto Club race to start at Pomona and the Nitroslots race at ATCO

This is how it all went down in N/FC on the East Coast at Atco Dragways First ever Super Nationals.
6 cars had to race just to get in the top 32
First up Iceman #16 and TGM2054 #7
TGM2054 took the race with a 1.492
We have 79malibu #20 and 79malibu#21 and #20 takes it 1.659
Last to race into the 32 car field stinger #23 and TGM2054 #8.The #8 runs a 1.703 to make the show.
First round victory for jjwallace #2 runs a 1.191 as TGM2054 deslots
Then nosubfor3 #32 wins with a 1.080 to 79malibu #20's 1.662
ks1933 #9 runs 1.082 beating dragfool #11's 1.640
jjwallace #3 runs 1.342 taking the win to pceng #34's 1.595
kiwidave #24 runs 1.157 to turn on the win light.Doug412 #13 runs 1.392
